Fishing on the Kenai (Day 39)

Itinerary: Based in Kenai, AK
Overnight: Diamond M Ranch & Resort
K (Mom): Pleasant + productive work day at the gorgeous public library in Soldotna – great space with friendly staff.
E (Dad): Learned the Russian flip – enjoyed casting for salmon on the Kenai with the kids.
G (age 11): Had the best fishing day of my life – loved getting to fish + shopping for Russian flies. Also, Dad got his own fishing license + a new road – loved going down to the Kenai River + fishing. Unfortunately, didn’t catch anything, but had a great day fishing – would love to go back + continue fishing there.
C (age 8): First time using a Russian fly.
